Sitting on the porch of this Island Inn overlooking Casco Bay and the Cumberland Foreside coastline quickly evokes a time past in our history.  This is a simply wonderful adventure for the senses as the world seems to stop spinning and the sounds and smells of the bay quickly captures your imagination.  This Inn is definitely one of those places where you go to soothe the senses and get away from it all.  The common areas of the Inn, especially the large sitting room, with views of the ferry landing and the small harbor, and the large stone fireplace to warm you during the crisp evenings, all evoke a time when families came to the Inn for the “Season” to enjoy all of the wonders of the Maine Coast. 

The Inn consists of 21 guest rooms on the second and third floors of this historic structure.  The first floor is taken up with common areas, including the large, fire placed sitting area, the bar and lobby area with guest services and front desk, along with a large dining room.  There are several enclosed areas for private meetings or small dinner parties, along with a huge sweeping covered porch where drinks may be served overlooking the water.  This Inn was totally renovated in 2005 with modern systems and newly decorated guest rooms and bathrooms.  The Inn has a new fire suppression and alarm system along with new plumbing, electrical and sewerage systems.   Finally, a new commercial kitchen was added at the time of these renovations, making this facility one of the most modern on the Coast of Maine. 

The Inn has been priced with the fact in mind that it continues to be a start-up operation which will require such efforts to achieve success.  This Inn is priced at our Business Valuation of $1,650,000.
