Hello All!
We have been searching for Spring and now that it is
May, I think that it has found us. We recently heard
someone say that we had no April here in New
England, just March with 61 days! I think that this is
true and glad that it is behind us. It is time to gear up
and get ready for the busy Summer season ahead.
We hope that all is well with everyone.

| You are Invited to... a Divorce Party? |
 |
|
It is time to think out of the box and come up with
some
new ideas for attracting guests to your Inn. It may
seem a little crazy, but one idea is to
have divorce parties! Why should Inns be for couples
only? It could be big or small, for males or females,
or a combination of supportive friends getting a newly
divorced person out and about. A twist to this party
could be to have all people coming to the party to also
invite a single person to come along. We know that
this may test your ethics, but we think this is an
interesting niche marketing idea. What do you think?

| What is the Most Cost Effective Stain Remover? |
 |
|
Are you sick of spending tons of money on stain
removers that simply don't work? When we were
Innkeepers we used Lestoil to get out practically any
stain. We pretreated the napkins, tablecloths, sheets,
uniforms, anything that had a stain. Then threw them
all in the wash to be washed as normal. Lestoil is
a great product and we swear by it! Give it a try. It
works great and is a less expensive alternative to
other expensive stain removers. You can find Lestoil
at the store with floor cleaning products, as it
is a degreaser.

Email Addresses are Important! |
|
|
|
We recently attended a national conference and
happened to gather a sizable number of business
cards from innkeepers requesting additional
information from us. We are always happy to respond
and answer questions and to also forward additional
information. We came back from the conference and
started to work on fulfilling the requests. We sat down,
separated the requests into piles for similar requests,
and then came to a screeching halt! Much to our
surprise over 50% of the business cards contained
no e-mail addresses! The innkeepers were diligent
about furnishing their website addresses, but no e-
mail addresses. So off we went to track down the
website address and dig through the websites to find
their e-mail addresses. Even then, some of the
websites didn't actually list their e-mail address.
